Fairness Opinion

A professional evaluation provided by a financial advisor such as a business broker, accountant or valuator. The purpose of a fairness opinion is to assess and express an expert’s view on the fairness of the financial terms and conditions of the proposed transaction from a financial point of view. The financial advisor analyzes the terms of the deal and the consideration being offered to determine whether it is fair to either a seller or a buyer involved in the transaction.
