The Canada Small Business Financing Program (CSBFP) is a loan program sponsored by the federal government which shares lending risk with lenders such as banks and credit unions and helps existing businesses or start-ups acquire the necessary financing to purchase equipment, leaseholds improvements, intangible assets, working capital costs, and property.
